This beautiful beach town is located on the southern tip of Africa in South Africa on the warm Indian Ocean and just east of the Garden Route. Jeffreys Bay is also surrounded with a variety of other smaller beach towns, Cape St Francis, Humansdorp, Oyster Bay and St Francis Bay, each one with its own charm.
Jeffreys Bay, or abbreviated to just J-Bay by the locals, is known to the world-wide Surfing community as the 'Home of the perfect wave', but it is equally known for great family vacations - largely due to the miles and miles of beautiful beaches.
Tour itinerary: Cape Town to J-Bay back to Cape Town
Duration: 3 days and 2 nights | Daily: ± 8:00 to ±18:00
Departures: Fridays from Cape Town
Day 1
Depart Cape Town at 06h00am and head for SA’s surfing capital, Jeffreys Bay. Our journey takes us through the ever stunning Garden Route and we’ll stop off at Gourits bungy for the small 65m jump before reaching Knysna for lunch. After lunch depart for Jeffreys Bay with arrival in the afternoon. Enjoy sundowners from the magnificent view of Island Vibe Backpackers situated on the sand dunes!
Day 2
Day 2
After breakfast we head for the beach where you’ll get your board and wetsuit followed by a surf lesson. Enjoy the afternoon with plenty of surf around or go shopping at the Billabong and Quicksilver factory shops – loads of bargains! Tonight we sample the nightlife and various bars in J-Bay.
Day 3
Day 3
After breakfast we’ll hit the beach and look for the best surf in the area. After the morning surf session we’ll start to make our way back to Cape Town stopping off at Bloukrans Bungy(Highest in the world-216m) where we have plenty of time for jumping! After the bungy we’ll head for Cape Town with arrival late evening.
