Famous for its diversity of wildlife, the Kruger National Park is the flagship of South Africa's game reserves. The members of the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo) live here in great abundance, and most visitors manage to view at least one pride of Lions or herd of Elephants during their stay.

Day One
Pick up from your hostel or Johannesburg Airport and travel in an airconditioned vehicle via Dullstroom or Nelspruit to Tremisana Game Lodge in the Balule section of Kruger Park. After a short break ( swim/ early Sundowner at the bar ) you board the open Landcruiser for a Big Five sunset drive. After dark, your guide will use a powerful spotlight to locate nocturnal animals. After the game drive, you will be transferred to Marc’s Treehouse Lodge, where you are accommodated in fascinating treehouses. Dinner in the Boma around a crackling fire will be a typical South African meal.
Day Two
You will be transferred to the Orpen Gate of Kruger where you enjoy the open Gameviewer that provides unbeatable opportunities for a total sensual wildlife experience. These 4 x 4 vehicles easily access all roads in Kruger. Your experienced guide will show you many animals and birds that frequent this wildlife paradise. Dinner and overnight at Marc’s Treehouse Lodge.
Day Three
Early morning game walk accompanied by your armed ranger. You will attempt to get close to the numerous animals that have made their home at Marc’s, especially nyala and buffalo. After breakfast, you drive via the Blyde River Canyon on your return to Johannesburg where you arrive in the late afternoon. Airport dropoff by arrangement.
Day Four
An additional day spent in Kruger on the open vehicle
Day Five
Visit Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre for injured and orphaned animals. Your understanding of conservation issues will be greatly improved. After lunch and siesta we enjoy an afternoon game drive on Motlala Game Reserve.

Day Six
For guests who really enjoy walking in the wild, we offer a safari with an extended four hour Bush Walk. The programme is as for the Six Day Safari with the additional day being spent at Tremisana Game Lodge. After the four hour walk, you return to Tremisana, where you can spend time looking at animals that come to drink at the waterhole in front of the lapa. Alternatively we can drive you to the Hide overlooking Tremisana Dam where animals and birds provide constant entertainment.
After high tea you will be taken in an open Landcruiser for a four hour game drive. Dinner and overnight at Tremisana Lodge.
